In 2024, I completed my studies in history at the University of Lodz. I wrote my master’s thesis, titled “Aquatic fauna in the culinary art and medicine of Antiquity in the light of select literary sources,” under the supervision of Professor Maciej Kokoszko. Since 2025, I have been a doctoral student at the University of Lodz Doctoral School of Humanities.
My research focuses primarily on the history of ancient gastronomy (currently with a focus on seafood) and the history of ancient medicine. I am also interested in antiquity from the perspectives of social history, cultural history, and the history of human–nature relations. I also research the reception of antiquity across the centuries, as well as the reception of Egyptian civilization in Greek and Roman historiography.
